To all my dog lovers, my name is Shawn Davis. I'm the owner and the one who started Happy Paws Grooming & Daycare! I started Happy Paws because probably like you, I LOVE dogs. I wanted to open a daycare/kennel where not only the dogs felt welcome, but where their owners felt welcome too. When I opened Happy Paws, I owned a chocolate lab with special needs. Beau was not only blind but was also a dwarf. Beau was my inspiration to make Happy Paws where I would want to be a customer myself.

He passed away in the summer of 2016 at the age of 4 (cancer sucks!). Despite losing him so early in his life, Beau is still with us at Happy Paws; he is not only the logo but also the reason why I do what I do daily. In my free time. I enjoy building rustic furniture and tinkering around with anything I can get my hands on. I also now own another chocolate lab named Kali that always needs to be licking something! Kali also has a tripod sister named Gem who has three legs. The two of them are the lights of my life. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read about my journey.
