Shawn Davis, Owner:

To all my dog lovers, my name is Shawn Davis. I'm the owner and the one who started Happy Paws! I started Happy Paws because probably like you, I LOVE dogs. I wanted to open a daycare/kennel where not only the dogs felt welcome, but where their owners felt welcome, too. When I opened Happy Paws, I owned a chocolate lab with special needs. Beau was not only blind, but was also a dwarf. Beau was my inspiration to make Happy Paws where I would want to be a customer myself. He passed away the summer of 2016 at the age of 4 (cancer sucks!). Despite losing him so early in his life, Beau is still with us at Happy Paws; he is not only the logo, but also the reason why I do what I do daily. In my free time I enjoy building rustic furniture and tinkering around with anything I can get my hands on. I also now own another chocolate lab, Kali, that always needs to be licking something! Kali also has a tripod sister, Gem, who has three legs and the two of them are the lights of my life.
